    Gazza Hospital Report

Post by gedmaloney on Sun Feb 22, 2015 8:11 pm

    As of Sunday evening.
Displaced tib fib fracture not dissimilar to Ashleys leg break. Was there when the consultant did his rounds and he said the operation had gone extremely well but Gazza is still in a lot of pain.
He sends his best wishes to everyone who has sent messages of support and was grateful for the quick response of Harrogate Hospital - in the light of the article in the Non Leaguer where a player with a similar injury (name was Malone!!!) had to wait 3 hours for an ambulance, Harrogate were pretty damn good.
Updates will no doubt be posted on the Town website but Gazza is expected to be in for most of the week.
    Recovery is under way:sunny:

Sickening injury. We don't seem to have much luck on this front do we?

Terrible injury, agree with the poster above, we have no luck with these matters. All the best to Andy, but we won't see him again this season sadly...our key player as well in my opinion. Really takes the shine off our current fantastic run of form, seems suddenly less important.
