I thought yesterday's performance deserved a new positive thread all of its own.

To watch our young players run rings round Chorley's defence was a joy to watch. These guys are learning fast, together, are gaining confidence every week, and are obviously loving every minute of it.

Don't underestimate Clayton's contribution either - he brings different qualities of his own and is key to the balance of the team.

One more point: as we know early in the game they all had to watch in dismay as one of their teammates was stretchered off in agony having had his leg broken. It would have been easy to have been intimidated, but they just kept on doing what they do best with no fear.

Ladies and gentlemen: we may just have ourselves a team.

I am looking forward to getting up to Harrogate in March to watch the team and also to the Oxford game on 11th April - hopefully a match without danger or even one where the 3 puts matter at the upper end of the play off battle!

Pardon my cynicism for a moment but we've been here before so many times. If we finish in the top 10 that would be a step back in the right direction I suppose but for now I'll wait and see.

Whilst beating Fylde and Chorley is commendable looking at their recent results perhaps they are both having a bit of a wobble. We do get very quickly carried away on here sometimes. I'm not quite sure it's time to forgive and forget just yet.

I'm not going to forget anything. I'm just enjoying the moment. If you can't enjoy a performance like Saturday's, there's not much point being a fan.

Nice post - I am now back to the point where I am actually looking forward to the next game. The football is good, the players are giving it their all, the fans are happy and results are coming.

If the team lose, yes I will be unhappy at the result however, as long as the team put in 100%, I will go away happy.
