No surprise there then. This from today's Evening Post: 'The plaudits are being shared around Guiseley's players...with chief among them being Shane Killock who has settled in seamlessly after arriving on loan from Harrogate Town. Bower said: but I think Killock is head and shoulders above what we have had there before in terms of experience at this level.' More praise follows.

And we let him go on loan for 2 months, where he instantly becomes a leading player in the second placed club! Only Harrogate Town could manage that stoke of genius.

Bill Fotherby appointed him & could have sacked him anytime while he was chairman.

Bill appointed him, but presumably at the point when he had decided to leave, with the expectation that Irving would succeed him as Chairman. I expect they always came as a package.

Because our defence has been worse without him and to boot he is a rare thing, or was, in that he wasn't just another player passing through the Wetherby road market place.

Don't think there is any fact based on defense been better best back 4 played today sadly with a completely unorginised midfield backing them up.

Guiseley didn't sign him because he has a big heart they signed him for his overall ability they saw something that 99% of our supporters see except you, and i think big Lundy may be right

It would be easy not to post was it not for tools like you. Do you have even the faintest idea of what's going on around you? Shane was the first name on the teamsheet for most town supporters. I work in Leeds and I can tell you now there are Guiseley fans having a right good chuckle at us. Shane is a thoroughly decent bloke, hardworking, a great leader and role model. Rarely put a foot wrong. There are a great many opposition supporters from clubs in this league having a right good laugh at our expense. We have a manager who in most other lines of work would be long gone. A manager who talks complete and utter rubbish - listen to the guy. He's an embarrassment - If I was a betting man I'd say that Claduia Winkleman could do a better job.

Family club my arse - give us back our club.
