Town may be going down the league table but they have risen to 7th in the NPL fair play table which covers all clubs in the top 4 levels. They are one of only 8 clubs who have not had a dissent caution or been guilty of abusive language or violent conduct (at least not on the pitch). Town have had more non-dissent cautions than the other top 8 but only one dismissal. Lowestoft in 8th place have had 5 dismissals! Perhaps surprisingly Stockport County are by some distance the fairest of them all.

hard to believe considering the louts we've got. probably only a matter of time before it all implodes and someone loses it

Fair play table
With Stockport picking up penalty points Town have moved up to 6th. Spennymoor are now the overall leaders.

Fair play table
Town now third behind Spennymoor and Whitby. Only 4 teams left without any fair play penalty points; the perhaps unfortunately named Bashley are fourth.

I was amused last season to see that Metropolitan Police F C were in the bottom 10 most of the season!

fair play table
With Whitby and Bashley both picking up dissent cautions that leaves just Spennymoor and us with no Fair Play penalty points. Considering the number of players used this is quite an achievement. The manager usually has an influence on discipline on the pitch so maybe, just maybe, this is an area where Simon deserves a bit of credit. If Harrogate Town are the Conference North saints then Hednesford Town are the sinners with a pretty incredible 11 dissent cautions and 2 abusive language dismissals.

yeah and that was in one match, the dirty buggers !
tbh the only reason Town are seen as saints as half the players aren't committed and rarely get near enough to tackle the opposition. Town's kit was pristine at the end of Saturday's match.
