Right Guys, We are Gearing up for this years World cup in the 1919 Venue. To mark the first England match against Italy this Saturday we will be opening up the bar at 7pm. We are so excited and to set the mood for the evening we will be hosting our first ever happy hour from 7-8pm. We will also have Chilli and garlic bread available free of charge ahead of the big match. Please note the 1919 will be open for all of the England matches.

To get the atmosphere started we will be showing 500 greatest goals on big screen and playing you the Worlds greatest football anthems.

only if first up your good self and dark knight recreate Glenn Hoddle and Chris Waddle's 80s classic Diamond Lights!

Sounds like a great effort by the 1919 venue - we're away next week, but will try and catch a game in there on my return (that's providing we haven't already been knocked out!)

    Cheers,

    TS

I seen all the signs outside this morning, driving down Wetherby Road. Couldnt miss them, so hopefully that will bring some more people in!!

Also got everyone in the housing estate around them, who have no close pubs really, so hopefully we will get a lot in and have a good night!!
