General indifference - a significant no. of people simply can't be bothered anymore. Perhaps an acknowledgement that the weavers are sadly here to stay and given Simon's record as manager and his obvious incompetence little chance of him moving on. Some have found more productive ways of spending their Saturday afternoons and Tuesday evenings (I have). I used to vent my frustrations in the bar after the game but there seems very little point. Personally, I'm sure I'll be back at Wetherby road at some point but certainly in no hurry to return.
Best wishes to the town faithful.

If I have done my maths right we have lost only three out of the last 14 league games, quite a number of managers would give their eye teeth for that record TS. Interesting definiton of 'incompetence' you seem to have. It might well be that the decision to use primarily youngsters was a 'last throw of the dice' as Ed White said, but it has certainly paid rich dividends: no unbiased comentator could surely deny that. Yes, Simon has his problems as a manager: getting the most out of 'star' players (in CN terms), would seem to be one of them, but as a finder and bringer on of young talented players he has a superb record. OK so players like Nyoni, Thewlis et al woud have been recommended but SW took them on and they have flourished under his control. Just imagine how much better things might have been if Gascoigne (plainly the best of the lot) had not been injured. Some fairness is surely needed here.
The forum is quiet because the season is almost over and we are marooned in mid table, no players coming and going so not much to talk about.
By the way, some time ago I wrote that I had stopped enjoying matches at the CNG: not any more! Since these exciting youngsters have appeared I have enjoyed every game. They are, of course, not going to win every game, but they are a breath of fresh air to watch. Going to feel bereft after Saturday. And what a game it will be: Fylde fighting for automatic promotion. Can't wait. Don't know what you do on a Saturday TS but it won't be as much fun as watching our brilliant young players...biased? You bet!!

Simon’s overall record in management, particularly given the resources at his disposal and turnover of players and staff, not to mention his involvement with regards various other unsavoury incidents, suggests to me that here is a man who’s probably not best suited to football management. Dress it up how you like but we started the season as 2nd favourites and one of the biggest budgets in the league and despite this we will finish the season just below mid table. Doesn’t exactly read well does it Paul? Excitement about ground developments doesn’t disguise the fact that results wise, over the course of the 2014/15 season we fall a long way short. Simon has no other option but to put his faith in youth as more experienced professionals know a club under Simon’s management is best avoided.
